Making Reynolds and the surrounding community a better place to live is the ultimate goal of Reynolds Community Betterment. This is accomplished by hosting several events throughout the year in an effort to entertain and create opportunities for people to meet, interact with one another, and volunteer. The funds we raise are poured back into the community through scholarships, community and personal donations, and beautification projects.

This committee was originally established in 2006 to plan and implement the quasquicentennial (125th anniversary) celebration of Reynolds. The Reynolds 125+2 Committee had such a great experience working together and planning the celebration in the summer of 2007 that they decided not to disband. In addition to the committee's positive experience, the people from all around were so grateful for the opportunity to get together (and even to work) as a community for the community. Because of that feeling and the overwhelming positive feedback . . . Reynolds Community Betterment was formed. The name was derived from the fact that the goal is to make Reynolds and surrounding communities in the area that much better!

Reynolds Community Betterment has appreciated all the wonderful support we've received for our events.  Through this support we've been able to make donations to local medical benefits; Dollars for Scholars; Reynolds City Hall; KC Hall; Community Veterans' Park; Reynolds Park Board; Reynolds City Park; main street of Reynolds; and the fire departments in Reynolds, Buxton, and Thompson.

Reynolds Community Betterment's mailing address is P.O. Box 204.
